Call for papers

The First International Conference on Hydrogen Embrittlement and Determination of Hydrogen Content in Steel and how to Avoid it, held in Stockholm, Sweden March 2010 was a success. In 2012 it is time for H-Conference #2.

Hydrogen embrittlement is a growing problem throughout the mechanical industry. New instrumentation and techniques for determination of both mobile and total hydrogen are an important quality assurance. The aim of this conference is to brief on standards, dangerous levels of mobile and total Hydrogen, effects, technology and methods.

This call for papers addresses industry laboratories, academic research and organisations responsible for research or developing standards, technology and methods.

We call for papers on relevant topics concerning hydrogen embrittlement. Abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee and subject to approval for presentation.

Abstracts should be sent to info@kemistutbildarna.se or thru our form no later than January 15, 2012.

H-Conference #2 addresses the steel, mechanical and electroplating industries as well as research institutions and inspection companies, experiencing a need for hydrogen determination as a tool for quality assurance.
